Jewish and Arab students from the Hadash front chapter at Tel Aviv University demonstrated and the racist lawmaker attempted to rip a Palestinian flag out of the hand of one student at the protest. Cohen called police to intervene when protesters wave the Palestinian flag, but police officials have resisted.
“This flag is a terrorist flag that is prohibited from being flown here, in all I did is what the police did not do”, lamented Cohen. During the Jenin raid, MK Cohen tweeted “Keep killing them!”
On Sunday evening, dozens of peace activists, among them Hadash members, rallied in central Jerusalem, fighting for a just Israeli and Palestinian future. “No one is safe until everyone is safe. Nobody is free until we’re all free. Down with the occupation,” said.
