A new and repulsive kind of fascism is surfacing strongly in this moment of human history, as over seven billion people strive after their own survival, wrote Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro in his reflection article published on Monday under the title “Palestinian Holocaust in Gaza.”

Castro recalls facts and details published by the media about the current Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip describing it as a shameful and criminal war on a piece of land, which is home to the remaining independent Palestinian population. “The Nazi genocide of Jews outraged all the earth’s peoples. Why does this government believe that the world will be insensitive to the macabre genocide which today is being perpetuated against the Palestinian people? Perhaps it is expected that the complicity of the U.S. empire in this shameful massacre will be ignored”? said Castro.
Facts tell the almost complete incapacity of the United States to face current world problems, Castro pointed out and he said that you can affirm that there is no government in that country, not even the Senate, the Congress, the CIA or the Pentagon that will determine the final ending. It is really sad that this is happening when we face greater dangers, and also the possibilities to keep living. Castro added that new crucial forces have been born. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, whose relations with Latin America, Caribbean and African nations, constitute the force for collaboration with the rest of the world.
