Liberation, one of the oldest human rights and anti-imperialist organizations in the UK has joined the campaign for Britain to oppose Israel’s pending annexation of large swathes of the occupied Palestinian West Bank, including the Jordan Valley.

The Liberation‘s journal will be holding a Webinar under the title “Palestine: Uphold UN Resolutions, Oppose Annexation,” next Wednesday, July 15, from 20:00 to 22:30 Israel Daylight Time (UTC+3); 18:00 to 20:30 British Summer Time (UTC+1) and 13:00-15:30 (1:00 to 3:30 pm) US Eastern Daylight Time (UTC-4).

The Webinar will feature the following panelists: Dr. Ofer Cassif, a leading member of the Communist Party of Israel (CPI) and member of the Knesset (Hadash – Joint List) and a former lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; Louise Regan, vice chair of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign; MP Jeremy Corbyn, former leader of Britain’s Labour Party; Stephanie Fox, executive director of Jewish Voice for Peace, US; Gawain Little, chair of the International Committee of the National Education Union; and Dr. Aqel Taqaz, secretary of the Palestinian Committee for Peace and Solidarity.

The Webinar will be chaired by Baroness Christine Blower. Participants will be able to address questions to the panelists in a Q&A session after their presentations.
