Hadash MK Dov Khenin called creating strong progressive political and social coalitions in order to challenge policies of the dangerous new right-wing and neo-liberal government lead by Benjamin Netanyahu that has been formed tonight, on Friday. “Democracy Coalition,” which would stand against eliminating minority groups and civil rights, is one of several he suggested.

He also wrote that the new coalition is an alliance forged between the settlers and the wealthy, not offering any congratulatory remarks. He stated that he had already begun talks with other opposition MKs for common struggle against settlements in the occupied Palestinian West Bank.
