A high-ranking delegation of the Communist Party of Israel, Hadash (Democratic Front for Peace and Equality), led by MKs Muhammad Barakeh and Afo Agbaria; and the Palestinian People’s Party, led by Secretary General Bassam Salhi arrived in Ramallah on Sunday to pay tribute in the Embassy of Venezuela to late socialist President Hugo Chávez.

“The communist activists in Israel and the entire progressive community come together to offer support to the people of Venezuela during this incredibly difficult time. The brave service of the late President Chávez on behalf the socialism will never be forgotten.” MK Barakeh said. “His sacrifice and dedication to a cause larger than himself, serves as an inspiration to us all,” added.
