Following the murder of a girl by a Palestinian teen at the settlement of Kiryat Arba on Thursday, June 30, Hadash MK Dov Khenin (Joint List) said “It is appalling to hear that a 13-year-old girl, Hallel Yaffe Ariel, was stabbed to death in her bed in Kiryat Arba.”

MK Khenin said, “Once again, children are paying the price for the actions, the crimes and the terrible mistakes of our leaders. We must do everything so that children, Israelis and Palestinians alike, will no longer be injured and killed. This intolerable situation must not continue. The bloody cycle of violence and occupation must end. It is only possible to do so through the advancement of peace leading to independence and justice for both peoples.”
