Israeli occupation forces have mistreated the bodies of three Palestinians killed earlier Thursday, Sep 19, in the town of Qabatiya, located south of Jenin in the West Bank, according to WAFA news agency. Israeli troops accessed the roof of the house where the three individuals had been shot dead, using a bulldozer to remove their bodies and bring them to the ground. Soldiers then carried each body one by one and threw them from the rooftop. Under international law, soldiers are supposed to ensure dead bodies, including those of enemy combatants, are treated decently.

During the wide-scale Israeli military offensive yesterday in the town of Qabatiya, located south of Jenin, that lasted nearly 10 hours resulted in the murder of seven Palestinians and left 11 others injured from live ammunition.
Videos circulating on social media show the Israeli forces mistreating the bodies of three victims, discarding them from the roof of the besieged home before a military bulldozer took their bodies away.
The Qabatiya municipality identified the seven victims as Mohammad Khalid Abu Rob, Omar Hamza Abu Rob, Ahmad Maher Zakarneh, Mustafa Faisal Zakarneh, Fadi Joudat Hanaysheh, Mohammad Omar Kmeil, and Shadi Sami Zakarneh. It condemned the killings as a massacre and called it a new crime committed by the occupation amid the international community’s troubling silence.
According to Hadash MK Aida Touma-Sliman, “The footage from Qabatiya, where Israeli soldiers throw Palestinian bodies from a rooftop, is a stark example of the moral decay underlying military actions in the occupied Palestinian territories. This act is not just inhumane—it’s a blatant violation of international law. What makes this even worse is the international community’s ongoing silence. By refusing to act, the world becomes complicit, allowing Israel to continue its violent occupation with impunity. Without immediate and decisive intervention, these atrocities will escalate, and justice will remain an illusion.” According to the Palestinian health ministry since October 7, more than 690 West Bank Palestinians have been killed by soldiers and settlers.
