CP of Israel condemns the order of the Tel Aviv District Court to dismantle the tent cities in Tel Aviv.

The decision was made after accepting municipality’s pretext that it was not able to reach compromise with tent city representatives.

Attorneys on behalf of the representatives are weighing whether to appeal decision before High Court.

The Tel Aviv District Court rejected a petition by social justice protesters against the municipality, which intends to dismantle tent encampments in several parts of the city. The court announced that a previous injunction against the dismantling will be cancelled on Wednesday by noon, leaving the protesters with 3 days to pack up the tent cities.
