A three-story building squatted by social protesters in Jerusalem

Social protesters yesterday (Wednesday) evening took over an abandoned three-story building in the Jerusalem’s German Colony neighborhood. The building was owned by the Ministry of Industry, Labor and Trade and is currently owned by a contractor company. It has stood abandoned for many years.

The protesters are demonstrating against a plan to turn the building into a hotel. Protesters arrived throughout the day and began to clean the building to prepare for the planned overnight stay.
