MK Dr. Afo Agbaria (Hadash), a trained surgeon who worked for years at Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba, attended. MK Agbaria, a leading member of the Communist Party of Israel, was born and lives in Umm el-Fahm and studied medicine at Leningrad State University in the former Soviet Union. An Arab organ recipient and a family who donated organs from their deceased relative were also present. “Organ donations transcend sectors. Reality proves that Jews donate organs to Arabs and vice versa,” said Agbaria.
