The Communist Party of Israel (CPI) extends its solidarity and support to the people of Nepal following the devastating floods and avalanches.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families who have lost loved ones, to the injured, the evacuees and all others afflicted. We send our support to all rescue workers, medical staff and volunteers attempting to save lives.

The disaster underscores the urgent need for climate justice: the countries most responsible for greenhouse gas emissions must assist Nepal and other vulnerable nations in funding, technology and damage mitigation.

We stand with the people of Nepal and call for immediate international aid to save lives and rebuild the afflicted communities.
