The Bill to Dissolve the Knesset Passed Its Preliminary Reading; MK Odeh: ‘The Evil Govt is Ending its Path’

The bill to dissolve the Knesset passed its preliminary reading today, Wednesday, May 20, by a majority of 110 Knesset members with no objectors. The bill does not state the date on which the Knesset will be dissolved. It should be noted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not attend the vote. He wishes to hold elections on their originally scheduled date at the end of October and can continue negotiations with the Haredi parties to delay the dissolution of the Knesset until the final approval of the proposal in its second and third readings.
