New Poll: Hadash-Ta’al Will be High from Today’s Five MKs to Seven

A public opinion poll aired on Channel 13 on Wednesday, March 25, found that if Hadash and the Arab parties were to run together, the political map in Israel changes. The Likud drops to 24 seats (32 today), the new Bennet and the Joint List would be tied with 17 each, becoming the second-largest faction in the Knesset, the Israeli parliament. In such a scenario, Netanyahu’s bloc would be weakened to 54 seats, compared to the opposition’s 64.

If the elections were held today, Gadi Eisenkot’s party, “Yashar!,” remains unchanged since the last poll with 13 seats. The poll also found that Shas would receive 10 seats, racist Otzma Yehudit nine, and Yisrael Beytenu eight. Hadash-Ta’al will be high from today’s five MKs to seven. Also, Yesh Atid, United Torah Judaism, the Democrats (Labor and former Meretz), would each win seven seats. The Islamist United Arab List would receive five seats, and the racist Religious Zionists would just scooch past the electoral threshold with four. Blue and White, the Reservists, and Balad will be on the outside looking in.
