MK Ayman Odeh (Hadash) was forcefully removed from the podium in the Knesset on Wednesday, May 21, after a shouting match with far-right coalition members which he criticized to prolong the Gaza war. He accused the occupation army of the mounting dead Palestinian children toll. “It is only a war on innocent people, a massacre,” he said.

In his speech about the Nakba, or “catastrophe,” marked by Palestinians to commemorate the loss of their land after the 1948 war, Ayman Odeh addressed lawmakers from the coalition who kept interrupting his speech and Knesset Chairman Amir Ohana (Likud) called Knesset guards to remove Odeh from the speaker’s stand.
