Hadash MK Aida Touma-Sliman said during the debate in the plenum: “Last weeks, U.S. President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented an imperialist horror show. An American and an Israeli, each with his own criminal indictments, decided to determine the future of the Palestinian people.” “The forced displacement of Gaza’s residents, promoted by Trump and Netanyahu, is not a “solution”—it is a war crime and a grave violation of international law. No Arab state will legitimize a second Nakba, and the international community must reject this dangerous agenda.” She added.
According to racist Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich: “I think that the current deal with Hamas is a mistake, but the government of Israel has decided otherwise. The Government in which I am a member has said that we are committed to fulfilling all the objectives of the war, including the destruction of Hamas. For that reason, the second stage, which entails stopping the war, will only take place on condition that there is no Hamas in Gaza, Gaza is demilitarized, the Israeli army remains in a security zone in the perimeter and in the Philadelphi Corridor.”
