Hundreds Jews and Arabs protested Tuesday evening in where a racist "price tag" act was perpetrated. The protesters cried out against the recent prevalence of "price tag" and other racist acts. Residents of the Abu Ghosh Arab town, which is adjacent to Jerusalem found the tires of 28 cars were slashed and walls in the area were spray painted with slurs such as "Arabs out," overnight Tuesday.

Hundreds of protesters blocked Tel-Aviv's Namir Road last Saturday at noon in protest of the State's plans to export some of Israel's natural gas. Hundreds of social activists marched to Finance Minister Yair Lapid's home in northern Tel Aviv and then blocked Namir Road, one of Tel Aviv's main avenues.

Schools will not be able to discriminate gay pupils if a bill proposed by MK Dov Khenin (Hadash) passes. The Ministerial Committee for Legislation will vote on the legislation. The bill adds to the list of prohibited types of discrimination in the existing Students' Rights Law the words "sexual preference, identity and gender." The Israeli National LGBT Task Force called for the government to approve the bill, saying it protects pupils from bullying.

The Knesset Committee on the Foreign Workers' Problem met for a special discussion on Wednesday with Health Minister Yael German regarding the health services provided to foreign workers. Committee Chair Michal Rosin (Meretz) said, "In many of the cases, this disadvantaged population does not receive health services. As a result, they do not get health protection and endanger the health of the Israeli public."

The Garden Library presents: "One Strong Black", an original Sudanese theater show initiated by a group of asylum seekers from Sudan. Next Saturday, June 22, 8:00 PM, at The Garden Library in Lewinsky Garden, South Tel-Aviv, near the Central Bus Station.
