On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, processions were held in Israeli cities and towns: Umm al-Fahm, Kfar Kana, Jaffa and Haifa, during which some youths declared the start of a three day hunger strike of their own, a display of solidarity with the prisoners. Political organizations from both sides of the Green Line issued a public statement of support for the prisoners, especially for prisoners held in administrative detention.

A number of prominent Israeli politicians and hundreds of activists from various organizations attended a left-wing conference organized by Peace Now on Friday. The event, deemed the Israeli Left Conference, took place in central Tel Aviv. Over 1,000 people demonstrated on Tuesday night near the Habima Theater in the center of Tel Aviv, against the deal struck between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Kadima leader Shaul Mofaz.
