Hadash to Hold 9th Convention Early Next Month, December 2-3

Mansour Dahamsha, head of the Secretariat of Hadash (The Democratic Front for Peace and Equality), has announced that the Secretariat recently decided to hold the bloc’s 9th convention on Friday and Saturday, December 2-3, 2016. It is anticipated that all branches of the front will actively participate in the convention and will elect delegates to represent them in the convention.

The Secretariat decided that each branch will be allotted one delegate for every 200 votes garnered for Hadash in the branch’s geographical area in the elections for the 19th Knesset held on March 17, 2015. In order to ensure the representation of women among the delegates, their number will not be less than 20% of the delegates sent by each branch.
