Latest TV2 Poll: 12 Seats for Democratic Camp and a 3-Seat Lead to Herzog-Livni over Netanyahu

The latest poll by Israel’s Channel 2 television gives the “Zionist Camp,” led by Isaac Herzog and Tzipi Livni 26 Knesset seats if the elections were held today, a three-seat lead over the right-wing Likud, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The previous Channel 2 poll predicted a two seat gap between the two parties, with the “Zionist Camp” in the lead. According to most recent poll, Naftali Bennett’s extreme-right Bayit Yehudi would take 15 seats if elections were held today, making it the third largest party in the Knesset. The united Hadash-Arab list, or “Democratic Camp,” would win 12 seats.

Based on the same poll results, parties receiving fewer than 10 Knesset seats would be: Yesh Atid, led by Yair Lapid (9) – one more than Moshe Kahlon’s new Kulanu party (8); Avigdor Lieberman’s Yisrael Beytenu (7) a slight rally compared to the previous poll, increasing its share by one; Shas, headed by Aryeh Deri (7) the same number as the other Haredi party, United Torah Judaism (7); Meretz (6) with the list of candidates it presented last week.
