CPI to US: Stop Interference and Aggression against Venezuela

The General Secretary of the Communist Party of Israel (CPI), Adel Amer, met last weekend in Ramallah with the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the State of Palestine, Maher Taha, and firmly condemned the escalation of interference and blackmail by the US against Venezuela.

Amer said, “We reject the inadmissible declaration of the far right Israel government threatening the recognition of a ‘President’ created by the US, in line with its collusion with the coup d’état of 2002.”

He went on to say: “The CPI repudiates the escalation in aggression against Venezuela perpetrated by the US, the EU and Israeli government, which attack the sovereignty and rights of Venezuela and the Venezuelan people, and seek to pillage its immense resources, such as oil. The CPI demands an end to the interference and aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the respect for its sovereignty and independence.”
