Palestinian Teen Dies of Wounds Incurred Last Friday in Gaza Strip

A Palestinian teenager, Hassan Nofal, 17, died on Tuesday, February 12, of the wounds he sustained when he was shot by Israeli forces last Friday, February 8, during the Great March of Return protests along the borderline area to the east of al-Bureij refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip, medical sources at the Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah said. The youth was from the al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Another two young Palestinians were killed and more than a dozen others were wounded by Israeli army gunfire during last Friday’s March of Return protests along the Gaza border with Israel. An Israeli sniper shot 17-year-old Hamza Muhammad Rashdi Ishteiwi in the neck killing him. The other fatality was 14-year-old Hassan Iyad Shalabi who was hit by a live round to the chest.
