MK Khenin Slams Channel 20 for Interview with Far-Right Terrorist

Hadash MK Dov Khenin (Joint List) slammed Channel 20 for hosting a friendly interview with far-right terrorist Yitzhak Gabai who was sentenced to over three years in prison for torching the Hand in Hand School in Jerusalem in 2014.

The right-wing television channel drew Khenin’s ire after it broadcast a live interview with the fascistic Jewish terrorist who expressed no regret for his arson attack on a Jewish-Arab school and cheerfully recalled details of the incident. The interview with Gabai was “disgraceful,” Khenin tweeted. “An outrage! Laughing about the torching of a school,” he wrote.

Jewish terrorist Yitzhak Gabai (Twitto) explains in an interview broadcast by Channel 20 on November 11 how he torched a Jewish-Arab school in Jerusalem in 2014. The title in Hebrew at the bottom of the screen reads: “The Twitto brothers confessed to and were convicted for arson of the school and are proud of their actions.”

Gabai and his brothers Nahman and Shlomo Twitto were found guilty in September 2015 by the Jerusalem District Court of starting a fire at the Hebrew-Arabic bilingual school. The brothers also spray-painted slogans of  incitement on the school’s walls: “There is no coexistence with cancer”; “Death to Arabs”; and “Kahane was right,” a reference to the late rabbi Meir Kahane, a mentor of the Jewish fascist and racist movements Kach and Kahane Lives. The three brothers were activists in the far-right Lehava organization, which is inspired by the teachings of Kahane.
