Gazan, West Bank Palestinians Die of Wounds from Live Israeli Fire

A Palestinian from the besieged Gaza Strip died on Friday evening, November 9, from wounds he had sustained earlier in the day from live Israeli fire during protests along the eastern border of Rafah.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that Rami Wael Ishaq Qahman, 28, succumbed to his wounds at the European Hospital. Qahman had been brought to the hospital on Friday afternoon in critical condition after having been shot in the neck.

On Friday afternoon the ministry announced that 37 Palestinians had been wounded by live ammunition as Israeli forces suppressed protesters at a number of locations along the eastern border of the Gaza Strip. Qahman’s death raises to 211 the number of Palestinians from Gaza killed since the beginning of “The Great March on Return” on March 30.

West Bank Palestinian Succumbs to Wounds

A Palestinian from the West Bank who was shot and critically injured by Israeli soldiers two weeks ago near Ramallah died of his wounds on Sunday, November 11, according to the Ministry of Health.

Mohammad Ibrahim Shreteh was critically injured by a live round to the head fired by Israeli forces during clashes in the village of Mazra’a al-Gharbiya, near Ramallah. Shreteh had been receiving intensive medical care in hospital until he was pronounced dead on Sunday.
